Cupcake Mania

In December I made cupcakes for a wedding reception and then for a wedding open house a few days later.  It was tricky because of how busy the holidays were but I loved helping out and I loved seeing that I could pull off making 160 cupcakes and get them delivered to the reception in one piece (or in 160 pieces!)  My anxiety was a bit high at times but with the help of the family, I did it!  I am frustrated that I didn't get photos of the zillions of cupcakes for the reception but luckily my friend Julie Shepherd had her camera at the Millward's open house and took some pics for me.  Thank you Julie!

Lemon Cream
Red Velvet
Reese's

I think the Red Velvet looks so pretty on this tiered plate that Laura Millward had.  I will be borrowing that in the future!

I made these Cookies and Cream cupcakes to celebrate one of our new Laurel's birthday.  Bailey and I tried out some decorations for the top.  I think they turned out way cute.  I sure hope people aren't getting tired of my cupcakes!
I am laughing at the quality of my pictures compared to Julie's up above.  : )

Brent's New Ride

Brent has been patiently waiting for years to get another motorcycle.  He has been working so hard (two jobs) and we finally decided he deserved a pay off.  I was waiting to post until we were able to get some nice photos of me in my hot helmet but that just isn't happening right now.  Bailey has been out with him a couple of times, in the rain even.  Sorry I am not as adventurous, Brent.  When the weather warms up a bit we can go for a quick jaunt around the neighborhood. :)  Every time he goes out I tell him to be careful.  I know he gets tired of hearing it because he is always very careful but it just makes me feel better saying it.  I made him up his life insurance.
Be safe Motorcycle Man.

Fairview Ward New Beginnings

I am very lucky to be able to serve in the Young Women in our ward.  I work with some amazing women and I have enjoyed getting to know them better.  We had our New Beginnings Wednesday night.  It was absolutely perfect and all the hard work paid off.  The decorations were beautiful!  Alli Blue was very nice to agree to be "in charge" of the decorating and did a fantastic job.  The words "in charge" freak me out.  I will do anything I can to help but that other responsibility doesn't fly with me.  We love our young women and I think everyone enjoyed the evening.  We had a great turn out and I am so thankful for all the parents who came in support of their daughters.  A big thank you to Ursula Tingey.  She is our Young Women President and gives so much time, effort and love in behalf of these girls.

I have loved being in the Young Women with Bailey.
She is my angel.
Each of the girls that were being spotlighted
had a poster made for them by one of the other girls.
This is the poster Bailey made for Kaitlynn.
This is Bailey's poster made for her by Sister Tingey.
The beautiful Fairview Ward Young Women.
We love you.
The Leaders!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this night so wonderful.  I think we all breathed a sigh of relief.  My feet definitely hurt after such a long and busy day but it was all worth it.
