Mall Fun

We were taking pictures at a Halloween store in the mall and one of the workers came and told us that we needed to stop or leave the store. He then pointed out a sign that said no photos were allowed. We hadn't seen it and then later realized it was in the photo we took right before he asked us to stop.

This mask is a bit freaky. Perfect for our Dani!

Dani went on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans. I finally had to pound on the dressing room door and threaten to take her life if she didn't come out!

Dusty's Home For a Visit!!!!

It has been a great weekend and luckily we will see him at Christmas so it won't be as bad saying goodbye this time.

Boise State Vs. Hawaii Game

Each week our family gathers at our friend Patty's house to watch the Boise State football game. This week it was a late game starting at 9:00 p.m. and ending after midnight. Patty is an avid Broncos fan and she has converted me. She bought me this shirt last year in celebration of my conversion. :) We are lucky to have her as a friend and a next door neighbor.

We bought Patty this Broncos Potato Head for Christmas last year that I found online. He is our mascot that Patty named "Vinny". He is named after one of Patty's favorite Broncos player Vinny Peretta. She was in mourning after losing him last year. I think she is still looking for a new favorite but I think Vinny will forever be our mascot.

Normally we have dinner each week but since it was such a late game we had snack food instead. Patty went to the gourmet popcorn store and stocked up on all kids of delicious flavors. My favorite was the coconut chocolate.

Scentsy has a new Boise State warmer that I was going to get Patty for Christmas but last night I found out that she already bought it, so I am on the search again for the perfect gift!

Okay...so this is a posed photo but I will have to admit that we all get pretty animated during the games.

We have had a wonderful weekend having Dustin home for a visit from San Diego where he has been living since April. WE MISS HIM! He turned twenty four last Friday. Hard to believe. Bailey adores him and has had so much fun having him here.

Dina's Flu Shot

So Brent came home from work today and informed me that he was going to give me a flu shot! I have never had one and didn't feel the need to start this year. Of course I gave in to the intense pressure but I will have to admit that I was more nervous having him give me the shot than a total stranger. Shots don't normally bother me but I was very apprehensive about this one.

This was the "shot" before the shot. Notice the great fun Brent is having as he prepares to inflict pain on his innocent wife.

The needle is in my arm! Brent had told me that I wouldn't even feel it. I didn't believe him at all but I will have to admit that he was almost right. Just a teeny pinch. Look, he is still smiling.

That is a freckle on my arm not the spot where he gave me the shot. No boo-boo. Thanks for caring about me enough to poke me in the arm with a needle Brent. I love you too.

Dani has a huge fear of spiders and needles. We had to almost force her to take the pictures. She was literally sick after Brent was done. This is her "after" face. I imagine I will let him give me another one next year. That time the kids WILL participate.
