Together Again at Last!

Bailey and I have been gone six long weeks and finally Dani, Ryan, and Brent joined us here in Arizona. We have a busy weekend. Cannon's blessing, Dani's 21st birthday, a baby shower for my niece, and my nephew is getting married. Most of my extended family are here. Let the festivities begin!

Dani and Ryan's arrival.  Balloons and signs, thanks to Dede. She always makes everything so much fun.
Dani finally got to meet little Cannon on Tuesday.  Now Bailey has to share him.  She is NOT happy.
Brent finally got to meet little Cannon on Wednesday.  Bailey has to share him more now.  She is Super NOT happy.
Coolest mannequins I ever saw.
Statue on Main Street in downtown Mesa- so funny!
The Big Pink Chair on Main Street. I love this one!
Bree has decided on MeMa and Papa for our "grandparent names".  : )  Now it's MeMa's turn. Don't tell Bailey!

I don't know what we are going to do when we have to leave him next week.  Good thing we are coming back in five weeks for Dani's wedding.  Ahhh..the wedding is so close and there is still so much to do!  I have wedding on the brain 24/7.  Dani, you are worth every single worry and every single wrinkle.  But, you will owe me big when this is over.  Well... if I survive.

Home Safe and Sound

Bree, Bryce, and Cannon came home from the hospital this afternoon.  Bryce slept at the hospital every night and helped take care of Bree and the baby.  I have loved watching them with Cannon.  It's awesome how they have just fallen into parenthood so naturally.  Tonight will be the first test of surviving the night.  Good luck you three!  I will only be a phone call away.  :)
I love how he snuggles and fits so cozy in Bree's arm.
 Welcome home bubba.
Okay, way cute.  Bryce couldn't stop staring at Cannon.  Love it!
I could sit and hold this little guy all day long.  Seriously.

The Waiting Game

Bailey and I got to the hospital yesterday morning and were sent to the labor and delivery waiting room where we had to kill about two hours.  Five minutes later this is what I heard, "I'm bored."
So first we tried finding something on t.v.  No luck.
Soon Brent's mom showed up and then the real fun began.  We had the fabulous idea to see who could get across the room in the least amount of steps.  Luckily, we were the only ones in the room.  Although I am pretty sure we would have gone ahead and done it anyway.
We then saw who took the most small steps, meaning the loser would have the least amount of steps and the biggest feet.  It was a set up...Dede knows my shoe size.  I lost before we even began!
Then the Clark family joined us and took their turn at the time wasting game.

A couple of weeks before Cannon's birth, Brent's mom had the great idea of having people guess his weight.  For each guess you had to put a dollar into the pot.  The winner would get the money and the glory.  :)  So after we heard what Cannon's weight was and were still in the waiting room waiting to see him, we checked the list.
We ended up with $35.00.  Dede won.  Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture?  (I am still trying to figure out how she cheated.)

The texting and phone calls...
No time for boredom now.  The fun has just begun.
